As my Postgraduate course in Primary Teaching starts this month, I’m sadly going to have to edit my website and remove anything too provocative (ie. nudity) in case future employers/parents stumble across it.
Whilst I was in Australia there was a bit of a scandal surrounding a Sydney primary school teacher who posed (implied) nude with her husband,also a teacher, in a sealed section of a popular women’s magazine. Parents were outraged and as a result she lost her job. Coverage of the story can be found here:Sydney Morning Herald
So unless I become a super famous photographer within the next few weeks, (ha!) I’m going to have to exercise discretion with regards to what goes on the internet. Or change my name by Deed Poll, which may be easier for me…
